LSA Shield show guts....

The LSA Shield Team put on a gutsy display this weekend against a well drilled Esher Development Team, losing 29-0. Although the LSA team was put together late in the week, the players showed a huge amount of pride and gave their all for the full 80 minutes.

Some early handling errors and general rustiness led to two quick tries for Esher Development and it was up to LSA to play catch up for the rest of the match. It was very clear that LSA had the upper hand in the forward battle and made good progress when the game was kept tight. Despite this, the team could not turn their efforts into points and as the game wore on LSA conceded some soft tries.

The team showed some great potential at times and can look forward to better results once combinations have settled.
